The Natural Remedies Innovation Centre

3 decades of R&D innovation

Over the past 3 decades we have successfully developed and launched a broad range of innovative natural healthcare products. Our products are used to protect and heal millions of animals around the world.

Catering to both human and animal nutrition and healthcare, the Natural Remedies Innovation Centre is a cutting-edge platform for developing innovative, natural healthcare products. Being a recognized leader in the field of herbs and phytocompounds, we employ state-of-the-art technologies to engineer new solutions for improved product efficacy and increased profitability.

Spread over 25,000 sq. feet, our Research and Development Centre employs over a hundred scientists from multiple disciplines who perform various preclinical studies.

Our analytical chemistry department is also a government-approved public testing laboratory for analysis of Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani ingredients, microbiology and finished formulations.

Animal Health Science

Natural Remedies is one of the few herbal animal healthcare companies in India to have a dedicated Animal Health Science Department. This department is led by qualified veterinarians and experienced scientists who conduct veterinary clinical and field trials in target species. Trials are also conducted on poultry, cattle, sheep, goat, swine, and shrimps to understand more about adaptogens, alternative to synthetic nutrients , respiratory disease in poultry, heat stress in poultry, animal wounds in collaboration with farmers and Institutes (both domestic and International) to evaluate the translatability of results to the field under varying agro-climatic conditions.

Areas of Expertise

Conceptualization, design of experiments, conducting and executing trials in poultry and field animals for cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and shrimps. The main aim being screening and generation of efficacy and safety data for our herbal products in accordance with VICH guidelines. Studies pertaining to adaptogens, immunomodulation, gut function, Choline mimetic effect, growth promotion, egg production optimization, wound healing, reproductive function are some of our areas of specialization. Our R&D centre has introduced to the world innovative products such as gut conditioner for poultry, herbal gut conditioner for pigs, Ileitis in swine treatment and natural choline poultry to name just a few.

Though at Natural Remedies, we are keen to do more, the challenges are vast. To address these challenges, we have built strong relationships with our Indian farmers, field veterinarians, Institutes, and universities to conduct veterinary clinical and field trials also.
